Crochet Men's Bowtie

Level: Easy
Hook: 4

Made in 3 separate peices.

Strap: Measure around neck and ch until reaches length. turn.
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and across. turn
Row 2: ch1, sc in first sc and across. turn
Repeat 4 more times. Fasten off. Sew in ends.

Bow: ch 28 turn.

Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and across
Row 2: ch1, sc in first sc. and across. Repeat 11 more times. Fasten off. Sew in ends

Center: Ch 10 turn.
Row 1: ch1, sc in first sc, and across. Repeat 3 more times. Fasten off. Sew in ends.

Construction.

Pinch bow square in the middle, scoop the edged towards the center. Holding this shape take the center piece and mold around center square bow. sew the center piece together in the back. Then pull the neck strap inbetween the bow and the center peice.

  1. May I ask, how is this worn? I don't see any type of fastener, and there's no allowance to tie it.

  2. My bad, attach a button on the end and fit it through one of the last stitches. keep in mind you can lengthen the neck strap by adding additional stitches to the beginning chain. hope that helps.
